秋フェアの為は、みんなでさつまいもスイーツを作るレクリエーションを行いました。
For the autumn fair, we had a recreation activity where everyone made sweet potato desserts together.

秋の味覚、さつまいもを使って、心も体もぽかぽかになるひとときです。
Using autumn’s seasonal treat—satsumaimo—we shared a warm moment that filled both our hearts and bodies.

まずは、皮むきからスタート。
First, we started by peeling the sweet potatoes.

「昔はよくむいたもんだよ」と懐かしそうに話しながら、手際よく皮をむいてくれました。
“I used to peel these all the time,” one resident said fondly as they skillfully worked with the peeler.

包丁を使ってカットするときは、みんな真剣な表情に。
When it was time to cut them with a knife, everyone had such focused expressions.

「このくらいの大きさでいいかな？」と、お互いに声をかけ合いながら協力していました。
“Is this size okay?” they asked one another, working together like a well-practiced team.

蒸したさつまいもは、柔らかくてホクホク。
Once steamed, the sweet potatoes were soft and fluffy.

次は、手で丁寧につぶして、砂糖と牛乳を混ぜていきます。

Next, we mashed them carefully by hand and mixed in sugar and milk.

「いい匂いしてきたね〜！」と、みんなの顔がほころびます。
“It smells so good!” someone exclaimed, and everyone’s faces lit up with joy.

できあがった生地は、小さな紙カップに一人ひとりが丁寧に入れていきました。
Everyone took turns gently scooping the mixture into small paper cups.

「これ、孫に作ってあげたいなぁ」とつぶやいた方もいました。
One person murmured, “I want to make this for my grandchild someday.”

オーブンで焼いている間も、部屋中に甘い香りが広がって、幸せな空気に包まれました。
While the sweets baked in the oven, the room filled with a sweet aroma, wrapping us in a comforting atmosphere.

秋フェ時に焼きたてのスイーツをみんなで「いただきます」。
On the autumn fair,together, we said “Itadakimasu” and enjoyed the freshly baked treats.

「甘くておいしい〜！」、「また作りたいね」と、笑顔があふれました。
“So sweet and delicious!” “Let’s make it again sometime,” everyone said, smiling brightly.

料理を通じて、自然と会話が生まれ、笑顔がつながる時間。
Through cooking, conversations blossomed naturally, and smiles connected us all.

さつまいもスイーツは、味だけでなく、心も温めてくれました。
The sweet potato dessert warmed not just our taste buds, but also our hearts.

これからも、みなさんと一緒に季節を感じながら、楽しい時間を過ごしていきたいと思います。
We hope to continue spending joyful moments like this with everyone, feeling the seasons together.
